The camera pans across the crowd of battered protestors that are consumed in their fight for justice and those who are still opposed to them getting it. Then to the ambulances and first responders that are rushing to help the wounded, then back to the news reporter.
Simultaneously, there are three flashes. One on the bottom right of the television screen, another from my cell, and the third on my military grade smart watch now vibrating on my wrist. I mute the television, pick up my cellular phone and push the send button. When the feminine voice on the other end answers, she says two words “It’s time” and ends the call.
